GESS INTERNATIONAL PLACES CONSUMER ELECTRONICS MANAGER (functional #2 position) Inside top-3 European Semiconductor Company.

GESS International is pleased to announce that it has placed the Consumer Digital Director inside one of the more famous European Semiconductor Companies in Asia-Pacific. Our client company engaged us in a search for a candidate who had the following qualities:

1) Currently the leader of consumer electronics ICs sales inside a major players inside the Asia Pacific market.

2) Someone with very good stability, who preferrably started with a large Japanese company for about 8-12 yrs, and then moved to a foreign-capitalised company with at least 5-10 yrs experience.

3) The person had to be stable with few job changes, AND not currently on the market or?advertising for a position. The candidate had to be cold-called and brought in, and persuaded to meet -- passive candidates were not acceptable.

Working with the President and Senior VP, and Human Resource Departments we quickly sourced a slate of new and existing candidates. Because existing data bases are rarely the answer, we collected a totally new slate of potential candidates. Over the course of 3 months and persuasive interviews of both and informal and formal nature, the candidate joined the client company from June 01st, 2010.
